I was requested to post a practice pic that resulted from something I tried to paint but did not turn out the way i liked so i just covered over the canvas with the gray, white, ocher and black.

After a vacation from painting I decided to continue in my quest of learning.  
I did the two following ideas from my grandson at the University of Colorado for his apartment that he shares with several other guys.   Good luck today against Colorado State.

Tried to use acrylic for an old style painting to see if the color stood out.   Back to the drawing board.

Did a painting for my accountant for being such a great cpa and helping me with my filing.  Also did something with a different style and to practice patience.

wanted to show a painting that i turned upside down and did something new.

Tried my interpretation of an old Painting I saw.   Used some darker colors and tried to tie in the ocean,  river and land.  Did not add the little figures that were on the original.   Taken on my cell phone so the contrast is not real good.  Anyway still trying and learning.
